Spring 2024 New Player Orientation Information

Wells Branch Soccer Association (WBSA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven youth sports organization committed to developing soccer skills, lasting friendships, and strong leaders in North Austin and surrounding areas through an uncompromising focus on sportsmanship and continuous improvement.

What WBSA Provides:

Jersey and Socks (1 kit to be used for Spring 2024), Referees, Fields, Medals

What You Provide:

Black shorts, Cleats, Shin Guards, Soccer Ball, and WATER. Soccer ball needed for practice.

Parking:

Use parking lot, street, or church parking lot. Be cautious when crossing Shoreline Drive.

Team Assignments:

Coaches will reach out; We need more volunteer coaches and team managers!

Soccer KIDZ:

  • Soccer KIDZ first session on March 2nd.

  • Shirts will be provided.

  • Sessions located below field 2, in front of field 3.

  • Sessions coached by Coach Betsie.

Age Group Info

  • U6: 4v4, No Goalie, four 10 minute quarters, Size 3 Ball.

  • U7: 4v4, No Goalie, two 20 minute halves, Size 3 Ball.

  • U8: 4v4, Goalie, two 20 minute halves, Size 3 Ball.

  • U9-U10: 7v7, Goalie, two 25 minute halves, Size 4 Ball.

  • U11-U12: 9v9, Goalie, two 30 minute halves, Size 4 Ball

  • U13+: 11v11, Goalie, two 35-45 minute halves, Size 5 Ball

Practice

Fields are located at: 

Wells Branch Soccer Complex, 3908 Shoreline Drive, Austin, TX 78728

Practice Sessions: Mon/Wed OR Tue/Thu

5:30- 6:30 PM OR 6:30-8:00 PM, Coaches will inform.

No dogs are allowed on the field and soccer complex. Please leave pets at home.
