Anytime you see lightning or hear thunder while on the field you must suspend practice or game until you have not seen or heard any for 30 minutes. In most cases this will end your practice or game for the day. Your parents should NEVER leave their child unattended at practice or games. If a suspension occurs please have the parent take the child to their car until practice/game are called.
If it rains you should check this website. The website should have the most current information concerning field conditions. If the fields are closed the website will reflect this on the home page. If the home page does not have any information regarding fields after a rain please do not assume the fields are open. Use common sense. If the field is soft has standing water or is just nasty stay off of it. Check your emails because we will always try to send out an email letting all WB coaches what the field status is after rain. The MUD lets us know when to close the fields.
| Wells Branch Coaches, if your game was scheduled on a Wells Branch Field, then use the following procedure. | |
| 1) | Go to our website (http://www.wellsbranchsoccer.com/), click on "Game Schedules", and then click on "Schedule of All Home Games". This listing of all Wells Branch home games will let you know when the fields are available on the weekends. |
| 2) | Contact the opposing coach and come up with a couple of dates and times that are acceptable to the two teams and do not conflict with the "Schedule of All Home Games". |
| 3) | Send an email to the field scheduler (fields@wellsbranchsoccer.com) with the proposed dates and times to make up the game. |
| 4) | The field scheduler will then contact you to finalize the date and time, since referees and field officers must be assigned in order for you to play your game. |
| 5) | The field scheduler will then contact the referee assignor and have the " Schedule of All Home Games" page updated. |
