Registration for the Fall 2008 Season is Now Open

Please read the following carefully as the registration process has changed.

• You can register in person at the Wells Branch Recreation Center, Rec Room #4. The dates and times are as follows:
  • Saturday Aug 16th 2:00-4:00pm
  • Tuesday Aug 19th 6:30 to 8:30pm
  • Thursday Aug 21st 6:30 to 8:30pm
• Players who are 10 or older as of 7-31-2008 are considered Division III and can use the Affinity Registration link below to register their child.
• Players that are from the ages 4 to 9 as of 7-31-2008 are considered Division IV and should not use the Affinity registration link below to register their child. Players that fall into the Division IV category should either attend an In Person registration or mail a registration form to WBSA. The link for the registration form can be found below.
• Children who are playing Division II soccer would be only those children who have been selected to play for the Cougars U12 Select team coached by Jeff Navarro. These players will know who they are and should use the Affinity registration link below to register their child. All Division II children must register by August 14 in order to be placed on the Cougars.
• Registration is open until August 21, 2008. All paperwork must be received by 8:30 pm that day in order for your child to be consdidered for placement on a WBSA team.
• Practices will start in mid to late August, and games will run from September through November. Practices are twice a week, with games on Saturdays. (Games may be on Sundays for the older age groups.)
• The registration fee of $85.00 includes a shirt, shorts and socks. Player must provide shin guards, the correct size ball and the ability to have a good time!
• We can only accept checks or money orders at this time.
• Coaches will determine practice times and days. Although we make every attempt to honor specific requests it is not always possible to accommodate those requests.
• If WBSA cannot place your child or cannot accommodate your schedule WBSA will refund your money and try to find your child a spot with another club that works for you.
• A player's age is determined by how old they were on 7-31-2008.
• All children must have been 4 years old or older by 7-31-2008 to be eligible to play soccer. All children will fall into a division of play.
• If you have already registered your child on line please help us assure your registration has gone through by filling out a registration form and mailing it to WBSA. We apologize for the unnecessary inconvenience. WBSA wants to make sure that your child gets registered and no information is lost during this transition.

Volunteers

As with every youth sports league, we are dependent on volunteers. Without volunteers, the league would not exist. The few people that are volunteering are just like you, in that we have jobs, families, and other time commitments. Even a couple of hours for an entire season is a big help.
